Ever since I was a teenager, I’ve had one driving ambition: to build something like Google, Facebook, or Microsoft. Not just any product, but something that reaches millions—no, billions—of people. Something that becomes part of the fabric of everyday life.
I still remember the first time I truly appreciated what these companies had achieved. I was using their products, marveling at the craftsmanship, the seamless experience, the sheer audacity of their global reach. It gave me butterflies. That level of distribution, that kind of market dominance—it takes something extraordinary. And I wanted to be part of creating that kind of impact.
The Big Tech Dream
For years, I thought the path was clear: work for one of these giants. Imagine the pride of contributing to something used by hundreds of millions of people in their lifetime. That vision still lingers. If the opportunity presented itself, I’d seriously consider it. But somewhere along the way, I made a different choice. I decided to build it myself.
And so I’ve been building. Trying. Iterating. My entire life has been spent chasing this goal—creating something valuable enough to achieve that scale of impact.
When the Creativity Dried Up (And How AI Brought It Back)
But here’s the thing: before AI entered the picture, I was burnt out. Completely drained. I kept asking myself, “What innovations are left? What can I build quickly enough to capture meaningful market share?” Because let’s be honest—distribution and market share are what separate the dreamers from the big tech players.
Then AI arrived, and everything changed.
I can’t stop talking about it because it’s true: AI reignited my creativity in a way nothing else had. Ideas started flowing again. Possibilities multiplied overnight. And at that exact moment, I happened to be job searching. It was only natural that I’d combine my renewed creativity with the challenge I was facing. That’s how Cver AI was born.
Building in the AI Career Space
With Cver AI, I’m carving out my market share in the AI career space—a space that’s still relatively unpopulated, which means there’s room to grow and dominate. I see my competitors, and I’m realistic about my strengths and weaknesses. I’ll admit it: I’m a product guy. Distribution? That’s my Achilles’ heel. I’m terrible at it.
But here’s what I know: one day I’ll get it right. One day I’ll find that complementary team member who excels at distribution. One day we’ll win.
Until then, I’m having the time of my life building this product. I have countless ideas waiting to be implemented—leveraging today’s technology and the innovations still to come. And here’s what gives me confidence: my competitors aren’t planning the implementations I have in mind.
The Journey Continues
So where does that leave me? I’m having fun. I’m building. I’m learning. And I’m waiting for that moment when everything clicks—when the impact I’ve been chasing since I was a teenager finally spreads like wildfire at scale.
That’s when I’ll finally be able to rest, knowing I’ve achieved that one goal that’s been driving me all along. Until then? The obsession continues, the work continues, and the dream of creating impact at scale burns brighter than ever.
The journey isn’t over. In many ways, it’s just beginning.
